Drip Coffee Bags in Dubai: How to Brew Specialty Coffee Anywhere
A good cup can travel light. Learn how to brew a Crack drip bag at home, at your desk or away from your usual coffee setup.

Drip coffee bags are individual portions of ground coffee held in a paper filter that hangs over your cup. Add hot water and let the coffee drain through. For Crack’s drip bags, start with one 10 g sachet and 150 ml of water at 90–96°C, following the instructions on the pack. You do not need a grinder or espresso machine.
For a desk in Dubai, a hotel stay or a slower morning at home, the appeal is simple: a small brewing kit and a repeatable routine. Explore our specialty coffee drip bags to see the current coffees available.
What is inside a Crack drip-bag pack?
The product is a pack of eight sachets, with 10 g of 100% Arabica ground coffee in each sachet. A sachet is a single brewing portion; it is different from the outer pack. Check the selected coffee, pack information and current availability on the product page before ordering.
Drip bags suit people who want filter-style coffee without carrying separate coffee grounds, paper filters and a dripper. You still need a suitable cup and access to hot water. They are not instant coffee: water passes through real ground coffee, and the used filter is removed afterwards.
How to brew a drip coffee bag
- Prepare your cup. Choose a stable, heat-safe cup with a rim that supports both paper arms. Set it on a flat surface.
- Open and hang. Tear the filter along the indicated line, unfold the arms and secure them over opposite sides of the rim.
- Wet the grounds. Slowly pour a little hot water over the coffee until it is submerged, then stop.
- Pause for 10–30 seconds. Give the coffee time to bloom before continuing.
- Pour the remaining water. Add water gradually to reach about 150 ml in total. Avoid filling above the filter’s edge.
- Finish and remove. Follow the pack guidance to allow at least one minute of steeping before discarding the filter. Let the drink cool enough to enjoy safely.
Make your next cup more consistent
Keep the water amount and coffee choice the same for your first few cups. If you change the cup size, estimate less and measure more: a large mug can make 150 ml look surprisingly small. Adding much more water will change the strength, so start with the pack recipe before experimenting.
Pour gently across the grounds rather than down one narrow channel. If water is draining slowly, wait before adding more; forcing the filter full makes brewing messy. A gooseneck kettle gives control, but a careful pour from another suitable kettle can also work.
Storage for Dubai homes, offices and travel
Keep unopened sachets in a cool, dry cupboard, away from direct sunlight and heat. Avoid leaving them in a parked car or beside a hot appliance. Open the individual sachet when you are ready to brew, and follow its best-before date and storage directions. Our coffee storage guide explains the habits that help protect your daily coffee.
Drip coffee bag questions
Can I brew a drip bag twice?
Use a fresh sachet for the intended recipe. A second extraction changes the result and will not reproduce the first cup.
Can I add milk?
Yes. Taste the coffee black first, then add milk to your preference. Milk changes both temperature and strength, so avoid changing several parts of the recipe at once.
Are drip bags the same as filter coffee?
They use a paper-filter brewing approach in a portable format. A separate dripper gives you more control over dose, grind and recipe. Read our espresso versus filter coffee guide to compare brewing styles.
